The projects listed here are just a small grasp of the more visual researches done during my Bachelor and Master courses


    Master thesis focused on crowdsourcing, research was done on the gamification of tagging videos. The platform is still live at:

  • Using budget smartphones for fall detection of elderly

    This research is part of the Interdisciplinary Research course at the University of Amsterdam. The idea was to transform old/budget smart phones in to fall detectors, we programmed a working prototype and tested it. The results and the research paper can be found here


    SnoozerLoser is an intelligent concept system to kickstart your day. An intelligent main unit is linked to various devices that are researched and proven to contribute to a better wake-up experience. Click here for the entire research document.

  • Rijkswaterstaat - Improving Waterway information.

    Working with four other students in a group, we were assigned to this project by the Vrije Universiteit. I was in charge of designing a mobile application for Rijkswaterstaat such that users could access information easily on the go. The research paper can be found here, note that it is written in dutch.

  • The use of Serious Health Games to quit and prevent smoking

    Concept of a serious game to aid smokers in the stopping process. The website of the course is live here The final paper is also on the website
